BPS Jambi Province Receives Award at DSI Award 2024

BPS Jambi Province received the award for Best Province in Digital Transformation of Data Collection Methods in the Category of Number of Companies <1000 in the implementation of the Large and Medium Industry Survey (IBS) in 2024 (14/11). The award was received by Andi Setiawan, Senior Statistician of BPS Jambi Province at the Evaluation of the Activities of the Directorate of Industrial Statistics (DSI) at The Phoenix Hotel, Yogyakarta City some time ago.

The award is a form of appreciation for the high percentage of participation of respondents from Large and Medium Industry Companies in Jambi Province who have filled out the IBS survey questionnaire using the Computer Assisted Web Interviewing (CAWI) method. CAWI allows respondents to fill out the survey questionnaire independently on a web-based application. The data generated from the Monthly IBS survey is used to calculate the production index and growth of the medium and large-scale manufacturing industry sector, in order to support the compilation of national and regional economic growth data.
