Abstract

The Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) of Jambi Province in the fourth quarter of 2018 amounted to 114.56, which meant that consumer perceptions of the economy in the quarter were relatively good and more optimistic than the previous quarter. The economic condition of consumers is mainly due to an increase in income with an index value of 119.14 and the effect of an increase in consumption volume contributing to the index value of 111.72 while the influence of inflation contributes to the index 108.17.
Meanwhile, consumer perceptions of the economy of Jambi Province in the coming quarter are expected to decline compared to the current quarter with a ITK value of 101.25.
