Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) Jambi Province April 2019 amounted to 98.85 or down 1.35 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The decline in NTP was due to the Farmer Accepted Price Index (It) which fell by 0.56 percent while the Farmer Paid Price Index (Ib) rose by 0.80 percent.
In April 2019, Jambi Province's NTP for each subsector was recorded at 101.96 for the Food Crops sub-sector (NTPP); 90.26 for the Horticulture subsector (NTPH); 99.66 for the Community Plantation Plant sub-sector (NTPR); 99.68 for the Livestock sub-sector (NTPT) and 105.24 for the Fisheries sub-sector (NTNP) consisting of Capture Fisheries (NTN) of 113.39 and Aquaculture (NTPi) of 96.44.
Rural inflation in Jambi Province was recorded at 1.02 percent. Inflation occurs in five household consumption groups, namely the Foodstuffs group; group of processed foods, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco; Housing group; the Health group and the Transportation and Communication group. Deflation occurred in two household consumption groups, namely the Clothing and Education, Recreation and Sports groups.
The exchange rate of agricultural household businesses (NTUP) in Jambi Province in April 2019 was 106.32, down 0.57 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
