Abstract

In November 2019 Jambi City experienced deflation of 0.16 percent and Muara Bungo City deflation of 0.51 percent. Jambi City Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 135.76 and Muara Bungo City Consumer Price Index (CPI) recorded at 136.01.
Deflation in Jambi City and Muara Bungo each occurred in 4 (four) groups of goods and services expenditure due to a decrease in index.
The inflation rate of the Jambi City calendar1 this month was 0.88 percent, and the year on year inflation rate 2 was 1.87 percent. While the inflation rate for the calendar year of Muara Bungo City this month was 2.39 percent and the year on year inflation rate was 2.56 percent
Of the 23 cities in Sumatra that calculate CPI, 5 (five) cities experience inflation. The highest inflation in Sumatra occurred in Metro City by 0.36 percent and the lowest occurred in Lhokseumawe City by 0.02 percent. Of the 82 cities that calculate CPI in Indonesia, 57 (five recovered seven) cities experienced inflation. The highest inflation occurred in Manado City at 3.30 percent and the lowest in Malang City at 0.01 percent.
