Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of Jambi Province in July 2020 was 103.57, up 2.39 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the Farmer Received Price Index (IT) which rose by 2.23 percent while the Farmer Paid Price Index (Ib) fell by 0.16 percent.
In July 2020, the Jambi Province NTP for each subsector was 99.92 for the Food Crop subsector (NTPP); 99.63 for the Horticulture subsector (NTPH); 104.54 for the People's Plantation Plant sub-sector (NTPR); 99.20 for the Animal Husbandry subsector (NTPT) and 104.71 for the Fisheries subsector (NTNP) consisting of 106.49 Capture Fisheries (NTN) and Cultured Fisheries (NTPi) 98.75.
Rural inflation in Jambi Province was recorded at minus 0.23 percent. Inflation occurred in seven groups of household consumption, namely the Clothing and Footwear group; Housing, Water, Electricity and Other Fuels group; Household Equipment, Equipment and Routine Maintenance group; Health group; Transportation group; the Recreation, Sports and Culture group and the Food and Beverage Supply group. Deflation occurred in two groups, namely the Food, Beverage and Tobacco group and the Personal Care and Other Services group. Meanwhile in the Information, Communication and Financial Services group and the Education group there was no change in the index.
The Agricultural Household Exchange (NTUP) of Jambi Province in July 2020 was 104.15 or up 2.11 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
