In June 2021, City of Jambi and Muaro Bungo experienced deflation, accounted for 0,20 percent and 0,39 percent

percent respectively. Consumer Price Index (CPI/IHK) in Jambi was 106,64 and IHK in Bungo it was recorded for 105,88.

Deflation in Jambi City was recorded on 2 (two) groups of spending. While deflation in Muara Bungo only recorded on 1 (one) group of spending in goods and services because of the index reduction.

The rate of inflation calender year1 and ”year on year”2 of Jambi City in this month is 0.39 percent and 2.58 percent. While thee rate of inflation calender year1 and ”year on year”2 of Muara Bungo City on this month is minus 0,06 and 1,27 percent.

From 24 city in Sumatra measuring IHK, as many as 10 citites experiencing inflation, while 14 cities went through deflation. The highest inflation in Sumatra was in Tanjung Panjang city which was 0.36 percent and the lowest recorded in Palembang with the number of 0,01 percent.

From 90 cities measuring IHK, 34 cities were experiencing inflation, and 56 cities were having deflation. The highest inflation recorded in Singkawang City with 1,36 percent and the highest deflation in Kupang City with the number of 0,98 percent.
