Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products for goods and services consumed and for production costs.

Jambi Province's NTP for October 2023 was 137.31 or an increase of 0.73 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) increasing by 0.84 percent, while the Price Index Paid by Farmers increased (Ib) by 0.11 percent.

In October 2023, there will be an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in Indonesia by 0.08 percent, which is caused by an increase in the index in the Supplies, Equipment and Routine Household Maintenance group. The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for Jambi Province in October 2023 was 136.85 or an increase of 0.61 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
