Harvest Area and Corn Production in Jambi Province 2023

Abstract

The harvested area for shelled corn in 2023 will reach around 781 hectares, a decrease of 1,111 hectares or 58.70 percent compared to the harvested area in 2022 which was 1,892 hectares.

Production of dry shelled corn with a moisture content of 14 percent in 2023 will be 4,725 tons, a decrease of 5,753 tons or 54.91 percent compared to 2022 which was 10,477 tons.

The potential harvest area for dry shelled corn from January to April 2024 is estimated to reach 528 hectares with potential production of dry shelled corn with a moisture content of 14 percent of 3,128 tons.
