Abstract
Paddy harvested area in 2024 was 61.63 thousand hectares, up 0.39 thousand hectares or 0.64 percent compared to 2023, which was 61.24 thousand hectares.
Paddy production in 2024 is estimated at 281.02 thousand tons of GKG, up 5.08 thousand tons or 1.84 percent compared to 2023, which was 275.94 thousand tons of GKG.
Rice production for food consumption in 2024 is estimated at 162.56 thousand tons, up 2.94 thousand tons or 1.84 percent compared to 2023, which was 159.62 thousand tons.
