Abstract

Since 2011, the Central Bureau of Statistics of Jambi Province has developed an Early Indicator Monitoring System, the Consumer Tendency Index. The Consumer Tendency Index is calculated based on the results of the Consumer Tendency Survey on a quarterly basis in Jambi Province. This publication describes the methods and results of calculating the 2014 Consumer Tendency Index. As of 2010, the index calculation only covers Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (Jabodetabek). Beginning in 2011, the calculation of the Consumer Tendency Index is expanded to all provinces in Indonesia.
