The agricultural sector is one of the economic sectors that consistently contributes greatly to the economy in Jambi Province. This can be reflected in the high contribution of this sector in the creation of Gross Regional Domestic Product (development cake). In addition, labor in the agricultural sector is also very large. Consequently, the attention of policy-makers is substantial to the development of the sector. Farmer Farmer (NTP) and Rural Inflation Rate is one indicator that can be used as a measure of farmer welfare. The Central Bureau of Statistics of Jambi Province prepared a publication entitled "Farmers Exchange Rate and Rural Inflation in Jambi Province 2014". This publication contains the development of NTP and Rural Inflation indicators that can be utilized by the government in the framework of planning and evaluation of agricultural economic development.
