Abstract

Early information, such as perceptions of business people and the behavior of consumption to the economic situation, is a very important need for all parties. The early information is needed by governments, businesses, and communities being able to provide early signals on the expected economic conditions over the coming months. Since 2011, the Central Statistics Agency Jambi Province has developed an Early Indicator Monitoring System, the Consumer Tendency Index. Consumer Tendency Index is calculated based on the Consumer Tendency Survey on a quarterly basis in Jambi Province.
