Abstract

The description of the employment situation of Jambi Province in 2016 is indispensable in the planning and determination of employment development policies in Jambi Province, in addition to planning, this publication is also used as an evaluation of development performance as it contains reviews and indicators that can illustrate the situation of the labor force in Jambi Province in August 2016. This publication is sourced from the National Labor Force Survey (SAKERNAS) conducted in Jambi Province in August of 2016. The survey coverage covers people aged 15 years and above detailed by sex (male and female). With fewer samples from Sakernas in the previous year, August 2016 can only describe the dynamics of the employment of Jambi Province alone, not to the district level estimate level.
