Analysis of Poverty Condition of Jambi Province 2017

One of the goals of both national and local development is to alleviate the poverty of the community. Poverty is still a global and national issue so it is still a concern of many parties. For the purposes of planning, monitoring, and evaluating various poverty reduction programs, a number of indicators indicating the status and development of the poor in Jambi Province are needed. These indicators are the percentage as well as various characteristics of poverty between time and between regions.

This publication presents an analysis of the poverty condition of Jambi Province in 2017 based on the National Socio-Economic Survey (SUSENAS) data of March 2017. The analysis model used still uses simple descriptive analysis. It is intended to be easy to understand and change the numbers comparable so that it is a real change in the field.
