Farmers Exchange Rate and Rural Inflation in Jambi Province 2017

The agricultural sector is one of the sectors of the economy which continuously contributes greatly in the economy in Jambi Province. This can be reflected in the high contribution of this sector in the creation of Gross Regional Domestic Product. In addition, the amount of labor in the agricultural sector is also very much. Consequently, the attention of policy-makers is substantial to the development of the sector.Farmer Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) and Rural Inflation are among the indicators that can be used to measure the purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. The Central Bureau of Statistics of Jambi Province prepares an annual publication entitled "Farmers Exchange Rate and Rural Inflation in Jambi Province 2017". This publication contains the development of indicators of NTP and Rural Inflation that can be utilized by the government in the framework of planning and evaluation of economic development of agriculture sector, as well as research material on data users.
