Abstract

Publication of the Consumer Price Index of Jambi City 2018 is a routine publication published by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Jambi Province. The Consumer Price Index (CPI) is one of the important economic indicators that can provide information about the price development of goods / services paid by consumers. Changes in CPI from time to time will reflect the level of price increases (inflation) or the level of price decline (deflation).
The calculation of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in 2018 uses the 2012 base year as a result of the 2012 Cost of Living Survey (SBH) covering 367 commodities of goods / services. In addition to presenting the Jambi City CPI in 2018 and the percentage change in inflation, this publication also displays 23 city CPI in Sumatra and National CPI as a comparison material.
