Potency of Performance Improvement of Small Micro Enterprises in Jambi Province

In 2016 BPS carried out a complete data collection activity or listing of the 2016 Economic Census (SE2016). Furthermore, to obtain a more detailed picture of the activities of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSEs) and Medium-sized Enterprises (UMB), in 2017 SE2016-Advanced was conducted.The publication of the Potential for Improving the Performance of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in the Province of Jambi is an analysis of the results of enumeration in the future in Jambi Province. The results of the UMK and UMB data collection from the SE2016-Advanced data collection can be used as a basis for the analysis and formulation of MSE potential development policies.This publication aims to provide an overview of the characteristics / quality of MSEs' human resources, conditions of capital accessibility and factors that affect micro and small scale business profits. In this publication, the determinants of earnings in Jambi Province were analyzed using multiple regression analysis.By utilizing the results of the analysis, the information obtained can be optimized for the local government and related stakeholders in an effort to improve MSE performance. It is expected that from the results of this study, it can contribute to the appropriate policy making targets related to the development and development of MSEs in Jambi Province.
