Analysis of Poverty Conditions in Jambi Province 2019

One of the goals of both national and regional development is to eradicate poverty in various aspects and areas of life. Poverty is still a concern of many parties and a global problem. Therefore all levels of government in Indonesia continue to strive to overcome poverty by issuing various poverty reduction programs.For the purposes of planning, monitoring and evaluating various poverty reduction programs, a number of indicators are needed that show the status and development of the poor population in Jambi Province. These indicators are the percentage and various characteristics of poverty between time and between regions.This publication presents an analysis of the poverty conditions in Jambi Province in 2019 based on March 2019 National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) data. The analytical model used is still using a simple descriptive analysis. This is intended to be easily understood and changes in the numbers can be compared so that it is a real change in the field.
