Abstract

Data Collection on Integrated Food Crop Agricultural Statistics usingArea Sampling Frame (ASF) method is a collaborative activity between BPSStatisticsIndonesia (BPS)withthe Agency forthe Assessmentand Application of
Technology(BPPT) the National InstituteofAeronauticsand Space(LAPAN)
whichnowhas mergedintothe National Researchand InnovationAgency (BRIN),
the
Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency(Ministry of ATR/BPN), and the Geospatial Information Agency (BIG). This activityhas been implemented nationally since 2018 and included in a national projectto support the achievement of food security as one of the national priorities in thecontext of improving food statistical data. The main objective of this activity is toobtain an objective, scientific, and modern method of collecting paddy harvestedarea involving the role of technology so that agricultural data, especiallypaddy production data collected becomes more accurate, faster, and timely.
