Agriculture Potential of Jambi Province New Roadmad of Sustainable Agriculture

Agriculture plays a vital role in Indonesia's economic development and food security. More than half of Indonesia's population depends on the agricultural sector for their livelihoods. The changes and challenges faced by this sub-sector will have a significant impact on national welfare. The publication entitled Agricultural Potential of Jambi Province: A New Map of Sustainable Agriculture comes in the midst of efforts to build a more resilient, adaptive, and sustainable agricultural system, with the hope of bringing progress to the nation.
This book delves deeper into the opportunities and challenges facing agricultural subsectors such as food crops, horticulture, plantations, livestock, fisheries, and forestry using data from the 2023 Agricultural Census and other relevant sources. Through a comprehensive analysis, we try to map out the untapped potential, formulate solutions to existing problems, and provide references in formulating policies that are more targeted.
