Poverty Data and Information of Jambi Province 2020-2024

Poverty is one of the main challenges faced by developing countries, including Indonesia. In Jambi Province, this issue has received special attention from the local government and the community. One of the keys to poverty alleviation efforts is the availability of accurate and up-to-date data as a basis for policy making. BPS Jambi Province is committed to providing relevant data and information related to poverty, which this time is presented in the publication "Data and Information on Poverty in Jambi Province 2020-2024".

This publication contains in-depth data and information related to poverty in Jambi Province, covering various indicators and relevant variables at the provincial and district/city levels. Provincial-level poverty data is calculated based on the results of the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) which is conducted every March and September, while district/city-level data is calculated based on the March Susenas. In general, the presentation of poverty data is as of March 2024, while data on the characteristics of poor households will only be available until March 2023.
