What is KBLI? Here's the explanation

However, many business actors lack an understanding of the KBLI code. So they have to consult and hire a notary to carry out this licensing registration activity. The Central Bureau of Statistics as the compiler of the KBLI, provides free consultation on the KBLI code. The same is done by the Jambi Province BPS. BPS Jambi Province has an Integrated Statistical Service (PST) facility that serves offline and online.

Through this service, everyone can consult regarding the KBLI code. The latest KBLI used today is the 2020 KBLI, where there is an additional 5-digit KBLI of 216 codes. According to KBLI, there are 21 types of business fields, and all of them are in Jambi Province, although with a small percentage. In 2021, the 3 largest business fields in Jambi are Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries (31.56 percent); Mining and excavation; and Wholesale and Retail Trade (14.09 % ), Car and Motorcycle Repair (12.58 % ). These three business fields are interrelated with each other, especially in the trading business sector. Meanwhile, the business fields that have little activity are in Jambi Province, namely services (0.89%); Water Supply, Waste Management, Waste and Recycling (0.14% ); Electricity and Gas Procurement (0.07% ). With more and more people who understand the KBLI code, it is hoped that the business license or company owned by the business actor will be in accordance with its designation. There is no longer 1 permit for several different business fields. There is no more confusion in determining the type of business field. Thus, the calculation of GRDP and our economic growth will also be more accurate.
