Desa Cinta Statistik (Desa Cantik) is an acceleration program for strengthening sectoral statistics nationally which is carried out at the smallest government level and at the same time as one of the implementations of the One Data Indonesia Program. The Beautiful Village Program is a form of BPS responsibility in providing sectoral statistics development.

Where, sectoral statistical development is carried out at the village level in a sustainable and comprehensive manner, as stated in Law no. 16 of 1997 on statistics.

With this program, BPS intends to increase literacy, awareness and the active role of village/kelurahan officials and the community in administering statistics. The main focus is to prepare village officials to have a better understanding of statistics. BPS designed the standardization of statistical data management to maintain the quality and comparability of statistical indicators and optimize the use and utilization of statistical data so that development programs in Villages/Kelurahan are on target. In addition, BPS also hopes that in the future there will be statistical agents born in the village.

In the framework of the Statistics Love Village (Village Beauty) program, BPS Bungo Regency carried out the Declaration and Development of a Beautiful Village in Suka Makmur Village, Bathin II Babeko District on Thursday (25/8/2022) at the Suka Makmur Village Office Hall, Bathin II Babeko Sub-district which is located in attended the Village Head/Rio Suka Makmur Waris along with related village officials and the Head of BPS Bungo Regency represented by Anne Anggraini Nasrul, S.ST as the Head of the General Subdivision. Acting as speakers were the Pembina Desa Cantik namely Muthia Oky Yulinasari and Microvelio Prima Guna. The event emphasized the importance of population data in Suka Makmur village, which so far there has been no good management related to population data.

The role of the Beautiful Village Trustees is to provide assistance to village officials so that later the village can provide up-to-date data on micro village profiles.

With up-to-date data, village development planning can be more targeted, such as targeted poverty alleviation programs. With the existence of Beautiful Village, it is hoped that the Village Apparatus has good data management and a high level of statistical awareness so that the village has the most up-to-date information on the condition of the village based on data. This can be used as the main source in the process of preparing the Village Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJM Desa) and the Village Government Work Plan (RKPDesa).

Through a more informative system, it will also provide convenience in accessing various village data. This shows that more openness and transparency of data is being realized in government agencies.
