The Declaration and Development of the 2022 Statistics Love Village in Tebo Regency

On September 8, 2022, in the hall of the Rantau Kembang Village Office, Rimbo Ilir Sub-district, there was a declaration and at the same time the Fostering of the Cinta Statistik Village or abbreviated as Beautiful Village by the Head of BPS Tebo Regency Edy Subagiyo SE ME together with the Secretary of the District Head of Rimbo Ilir Supriyati S.Kom.

The Head of Rantau Kembang Village Mr. Kusmedi and all Rantau Kembang Village Apparatus and the Beautiful Village Development Team BPS Tebo Regency, with the motto: Optimizing IT for Increasing Village Potential.

In this activity, the signing of the declaration document was carried out by the Village Head, Camat and Head of BPS Tebo Regency as a sign of the declaration and the start of the development of the Cinta Statistik Village.

In his remarks, the Village Head expressed his gratitude for getting guidance related to the mastery and utilization of Information Technology (IT) which is very useful to support the achievement of the goals to be achieved by the Village government, as well as on behalf of the Sub-district Head of Rimbo Ilir Supriyati for supporting this activity.

The Head of BPS for Tebo Regency in his speech said that villages are no longer considered as objects of development, but are placed as subjects and spearheads of development in improving people's welfare.

Currently in the village there are various data collection application systems (Prodeskel, Village SDGs, SIK-NG, etc.), but the quality and capacity of human resources (HR) in the village government in terms of village data management and literacy is still relatively low.

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) as the leading sector in statistical development has an important role in improving the management, utilization and literacy of data at the village level.

Statistical development for villages/kelurahan is adjusted to the business process of organizing basic statistics. In particular, statistical guidance is carried out on matters related to providing insight into village development for poverty alleviation, identifying the existence of existing facilities, infrastructure and potential in villages/kelurahan in terms of geographical location, assets (physical, financial, and social capital). ) and infrastructure, Identify the need for appropriate data for the targets of village development, poverty alleviation, productivity improvement, etc.,

Mapping of data utilization for village development needs utilizing village funds, as well as submission of 2021 Village Potential Data (PODES 2021).

Edy Subagiyo, Head of BPS Tebo Regency, said that at the end of this year's coaching, BPS RI will conduct an Award for Villages and Village Statistics Agents.

He hoped that Rantau Kembang Village would become a successful beautiful village so that it would receive an award from the BPS of the Republic of Indonesia.
