Workshop on Preparation and Alignment of the One Data Indonesia Action Plan for Jambi Province

The Jambi Province Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) as the Jambi Province One Data Indonesia Secretariat held a Workshop on Preparing and Aligning the One Data Indonesia Action Plan for Jambi Province. The event, which was held on Thursday, 20 June 2024 at the Wiltop Hotel Jambi, presented speakers from the One Data Indonesia Central Secretariat (online) and the Head of BPS Jambi Province.

Ir. Agus Sunaryo, M.Si., Head of the Jambi Province Bappeda, in his speech said that there is a need to support a culture of data awareness (Data Awareness culture) in every government apparatus and organization as well as reducing sectoral egos among data producers. For this reason, through this workshop it is hoped that we can increase collaboration and synergy across agencies, both Central, Provincial and Regency/City Governments, in order to build governance and quality standards for planning, collecting and examining data that are in line with regional needs, as an effort to accelerate implementation of One Indonesian Data.

Agus Sudibyo, M.Stat., Head of BPS Jambi Province also delivered a presentation entitled Joint Efforts to Realize the Planned and Synergistic Implementation of One Indonesian Data. The Head of BPS conveyed 3 (three) important points, namely Statistics in Development, Implementation of One Indonesian Data, and Central and Regional Data Planning.
