JAMBI PUBLICATION SURGERY IN FIGURES FOR 2024

On Tuesday, August 20 2024, BPS Jambi Province successfully held a Jambi Publication Review in Figures for 2024 at the Yello Hotel. This event was officially opened by Agus Sudibyo, Head of BPS Jambi Province. Also present at this event was the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology at UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi, Arfan, as well as the Young Librarian at Jambi University, Hermanetty, together with statistical agents from Jambi University and UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi.

In his speech, Agus Sudibyo explained that this activity aims to deepen statistical agents' understanding of the publication Jambi in Figures, which is one of BPS' superior products. As BPS frontliners, the selected statistical agents act as an extension of BPS product services, so it is important for them to understand BPS products well.

The material presented in this event included 14 chapters, 119 tables and 24 images contained in the publication Jambi in Figures for 2024. The resource person presented the material in an interesting way, coupled with a quiz with prizes which made the event even more exciting. With the knowledge gained, it is hoped that statistical agents can be more effective in introducing BPS data to academics and the wider community.

We would like to thank Jambi University and UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi for their ongoing collaboration with BPS in increasing awareness and understanding of the importance of statistical data. Through this activity, it is hoped that more data users will be able to utilize Jambi in Figures for analysis and research.
