Abstract

Jambi provincial economy in 2015 as measured by Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at current prices reached Rp155.110,35 billion and the GDP per capita reached Rp45.593.174 or US $ 3,413.25.
Jambi Province 2015 economic growth slowed compared to 4.21 percent in 2014 amounted to 7.35 percent. On the production side, the highest growth by business field and Retail Trade; Repair Cars and Motorcycles by 11.02 percent.
Economic Jambi fourth quarter of 2015 when compared to the fourth quarter of 2014 (y-on-y) grew by 3.18 percent, with the highest growth by the Government Administration, Defence and Compulsory Social Security (13.31 percent).
Economic Jambi fourth quarter of 2015 experienced a positive growth of 0.36 percent compared to the previous quarter (q-to-q). On the production side, this was mainly due to the positive performance of the undertaking of the Government Administration, Defence and Compulsory Social Security, which grew by 14.80 percent.
In terms of expenditure, Jambi economy in 2015 was dominated by the export of goods and services amounted to 66.02 percent and Household Consumption Expenditure reached 46.00 percent.
The highest growth on the expenditure side in 2015 is a non-profit Institution Consumption Expenditure which reached 4.41 percent. Meanwhile, gross fixed capital formation declined by 0.76 per cent.
