Abstract

The economy of Jambi Province based on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices in 2017 reaches Rp191 099 billion and GDP per capita reaches Rp54.37 million or U $ 4,056.89.
The economy of Jambi Province in the fourth quarter of 2017 grew 5.20 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, growth is driven by almost all business fields, with the highest growth achieved Construction Business Field which grew 8.78 percent. On the expenditure side, the highest growth was achieved by the Export Component which grew by 10.34 percent.
The economy of Jambi Province in the fourth quarter of 2017 when compared to quarter III-2017 (q-to-q) increased by 3.06 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth in the Field of Business Information and Communications of 9.82 percent. While from the expenditure side achieved by the Government Consumption Consumption component increased significantly by 55.37 percent.
The economy of Jambi province in the fourth quarter of 2017 when compared to the same quarter the previous year (c-to-c) grew 4.64 percent. In terms of production, growth is driven by all business fields, with the highest growth coming from the Provision of Accommodation and Drinking 7.95 percent. While in terms of expenditure is mainly driven by the Export Component which grew by 8.79 percent.
The economic structure of Jambi Province in 2017 was dominated by Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries which contributed the most to GDP, at 29.41 percent. Followed by Mining and Quarrying of 17.66 percent. While on the expenditure side, PDRB is mostly used for Export Expenditure Component of 69.48 percent.
