Economic Growth of Jambi Province Quarter III-2018
The economy of Jambi Province is based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) on the basis of current prices in quarter III-2018 reaching Rp53 029.7 billion and on the basis of constant prices in 2010 reaching Rp35 952.5 billion.
Economy of Jambi Province in quarter III-2018 grew 4.77 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, growth is driven by almost all business fields, except Financial and Insurance Services (-2.32 percent); with the highest growth reached Information and Communication Business Fields which grew 7.74 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the PK-LNPRT component which grew by 14.85 percent.
Economy of Jambi Province in quarter III-2018 increased by 1.76 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, the highest growth was in Construction Business Fields of 6.77 percent. While in terms of expenditure achieved by the Component of Government Consumption Expenditure which increased significantly by 5.61 percent.
The economy of Jambi Province quarter III-2018 (c-to-c) grew 4.70 percent. In terms of production, growth was driven by all business fields, with the highest growth coming from Information and Communication at 8.22 percent. While in terms of expenditure, it was mainly driven by the PKLNPRT component which grew by 14.51 percent.
The economic structure of Jambi Province in quarter III-2018 was dominated by Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries which gave the largest contribution to GDP, which was 26.72 percent. Followed by Mining and Excavation of 20.55 percent. While on the expenditure side, GRDP is widely used for the Export Component and Import Component (as a deduction), each of 69.69 percent and 45.90 percent.
