Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib). NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products for goods and services consumed and for production costs. Jambi Province's NTP in August 2024 was 157.40 or an increase of 1.25 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) increasing by 0.88 percent, while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) decreased by 0.36 percent. In Jambi Province, the NTP January—August 2024 increased by 8.94 percent compared to the NTP January—August 2023. In August 2024, there was a decrease in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in Jambi Province by 0.47 percent due to a decrease in the index in three the expenditure group, namely the Food, Beverage and Tobacco Group, was 0.85 percent; Housing, Water, Electricity and Other Fuels by 0.03 percent; and Information, Communication and Financial Services by 0.04 percent.  The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for Jambi Province in July 2024 was 160.78 or an increase of 0.83 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP
