Abstract

The calculation of the Indonesian Democracy Index (IDI) has been carried out since 2009. From 2009 to 2017, IDI is calculated with the same concepts and methodologies so that it can give meaning to changes in democracy over time.

The existence of IDI data is intended to provide benefits for political development planning at the provincial level. The use of IDI data as a basis for political development planning will make it easier for Local Governments and stakeholders to map the problems of democratic development. The data from the Jambi Province IDI is expected to be utilized not only by the Regional Government and stakeholders but also by the Jambi community at large.
