Consumer Price Index of Jambi Municipality 2019

The publication of the Jambi City Consumer Price Index 2019 is a routine publication published by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Jambi Province. The Consumer Price Index (CPI) is one of the important economic indicators that can provide information about the development of the price of goods / services paid by consumers. Changes in the CPI over time will reflect the rate of price increase (inflation) or the level of price decline (deflation).The calculation of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in 2019 uses the base year of 2012 as a result of the 2012 Cost of Living Survey covering 367 commodity goods / services. In addition to presenting the Jambi City CPI in 2019 and the percentage change in inflation, this publication also displays the CPI of 23 cities in Sumatra and the National CPI as a comparison.
