Elderly Population Statistics of Jambi Province 2019

The increase in the elderly population in Jambi Province is one of the impacts of successful development in the health sector. This of course brings consequences that are not simple, both potential and challenges for national development. Responding to this phenomenon, the existence of accurate and comprehensive information data is expected to map the current condition of the elderly in Jambi Province in order to formulate a policy that can protect the lives of the elderly.
This publication is an annual publication that contains macro information about the demographic conditions of the elderly population, educational status, health conditions, the role of the elderly in employment, economic potential, social conditions, and the access of the elderly population to various protection and empowerment facilities to improve their quality of life. The data used in this publication are sourced from data from the March 2019 National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) and the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) in August 2019.
