Consumption or public expenditure in meeting the needs of clothing, food and boards is part of the welfare indicator. The proportion of household expenditure to fulfill these needs will vary, and is generally related to the level of household welfare. Therefore, people's consumption patterns will also vary. Analysis of people's consumption patterns is not only useful in providing an overview of general welfare, but can also be an indicator of the quality of food security.The National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) is one of the surveys conducted by the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), to collect socio-economic data on the population through the household approach, including consumption data for various commodities. The data published in this book are the results of the March 2022 Susenas, specifically from the Consumption and Expenditures questionnaire. The 2022 Jambi Province Public Consumption Pattern Analysis publication is the sixth edition of the publication on household expenditure and consumption. This publication is intended to provide an overview of expenditure and consumption patterns in various levels of society at the provincial and district/city levels in Jambi Province.
