Community welfare is the goal in every development program. Various indicators are used to measure the level of welfare, one of which is based on people's consumption or expenditure in meeting their needs for clothing, food and shelter. The share of household expenditure to fulfill these needs will vary, and is generally related to the level of household welfare. Therefore, people's consumption patterns will also vary. Analysis of community consumption patterns is not only useful in providing a picture of general welfare, but can also be an indicator of the quality of food security.The publication of Analysis of Community Consumption Patterns in Jambi Province 2023 is the seventh edition of the publication on household expenditure and consumption. This publication is intended to provide an overview of expenditure and consumption patterns at various levels of society at the provincial and district/city levels in Jambi Province.
