Abstract

Increasing the quality of health development in Indonesia has an impact on increasing life expectancy (UHH). As a result, the number of elderly people is also increasing (aging population). Availability of data and information Accurate and comprehensive data is important for mapping the current condition of the elderly in Jambi Province as a basis for formulate policies that can anticipate impacts that may arise due to the aging population phenomenon.
This publication is an annual publication that contains macro information regarding demographic conditions and status education, health conditions, the role of the elderly in employment, social conditions, and access to the elderly population to various social protection facilities. The data used comes from the National Socioeconomic Survey (Susenas) March 2023, National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) August 2023, Population Census 2010, and Population Projection Results 2020-2050.
