Farmer Term of Trade and Rural Inflation of Jambi Province 2023

The agricultural sector is one of the economic sectors that continuously makes a major contribution to the economy in Jambi Province. This can be reflected in the high contribution of this sector in the creation of Gross Regional Domestic Product. In addition, the number of workers in the agricultural sector is also very large. Therefore, the attention of policy makers is quite large towards the development of this sector. The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) and Rural Inflation are indicators that can be used to measure the purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. The Jambi Province Central Statistics Agency compiles an annual publication entitled "Farmers' Exchange Rate and Rural Inflation in Jambi Province 2023". This publication contains the development of NTP and Rural Inflation indicators that can be used by the government in the planning and evaluation of agricultural sector economic development, as well as research materials for data users.
