BPS Jambi Province Presents Inflation Data in HLM TPID Jambi Province

Tuesday (9/17) morning at the Swiss-Bell Hotel, Jambi City, Agus Sudibyo, Head of BPS Jambi Province, was one of the speakers at the HLM TPID Jambi Province activities. The activity, which was officially opened by Abdullah Sani, Deputy Governor of Jambi, was attended by Forkopimda officials and a number of regional officials/related agencies within the Jambi Provincial government.

On this occasion, Agus explained the development of inflation from January 2022 to August 2024. In his presentation, Agus also revealed a number of commodities contributing to inflation and inflation according to expenditure groups. "From the beginning of the year to the middle, the highest (y-to-d) inflation occurred in the food, beverage and tobacco groups. "In contrast to July and August, the highest (y-to-d) inflation occurred in the recreation, sports and culture groups," explained Agus.

HLM, which is an initiative of the Jambi Provincial Government together with the Jambi Province Bank Indonesia Representative Office, aims to improve and evaluate the implementation of the inflation control activity program of the Jambi Provincial Government and Regencies/Cities throughout Jambi Province, so as to create synergy in controlling inflation in Jambi Province. TPID's HLM in Semester II this year raised the theme "Strengthening Innovation in the Availability of Strategic Food Supplies to Support the Sustainability of Inflation Control in Jambi Province.
