Development of Exports and Imports of Jambi Province in August 2024

The value of exports from Jambi Province in August 2024 increased by 1.71 percent compared to the previous month. In July 2024, the value was US$ 186.32 million, increasing to US$ 189.51 million in August 2024.

The opposite happened to imports. The value of imports from Jambi Province in August 2024 fell by 23.83 percent compared to the previous month. In July 2024, the value was US$ 5.93 million, decreasing to US$ 4.51 million in August 2024.

As of August 2024, the mining group still dominated exports in Jambi, at 66.19 percent, followed by the industrial group at 30.35 percent, and the agricultural group at 3.47 percent. Meanwhile, for imports, the machinery and transportation equipment group has the largest contribution of 44.21 percent, followed by the industrial commodity group of 32.04 percent, and the chemical commodity group of 20.33 percent.
