The Jambi Provincial Government's Statistics Development Index (IPS) is rated "GOOD"

This year, the Jambi Provincial Government received a "Good" predicate in the 2024 Sectoral Statistics Implementation Evaluation (EPSS) assessment. This achievement has increased compared to the previous year. In 2023, the Jambi Provincial Government's IPS value was 1.88 or a "Fair" predicate and in 2024 it increased to a "Good" predicate with an IPS value of 2.68.

PJS Governor of Jambi, Sudirman, when receiving the award certificate stated that this was a joint effort by the Jambi Provincial Government and the Jambi Provincial BPS to strengthen sectoral statistics. The Head of the Jambi Provincial BPS, Agus Sudibyo, also said that the measure of the success of statistical development is through the IPS value and the Jambi Provincial Government has succeeded in making extraordinary improvements in 2024. Agus hopes that next year with synergy with Bappeda, Diskominfo, and the agencies involved in the assessment, we can achieve an even better predicate. In the 2024 EPSS assessment, the Jambi Provincial Health Office and the Jambi Provincial Food Crops, Horticulture, and Livestock Office are the 2 offices that are the loci of the assessment.
