Abstract

Shelled maize harvested area in 2024 is around 1,514 hectares, experiencing an increase of 733 hectares or 93.74 percent compared to 2023, which was 781 hectares.

Dry-shelled maize production with a 14 percent moisture content in 2024 is approximately 10,531 tons, experiencing an increase of 5,806 tons or 122.89 percent compared to 2023, which was 4,725 tons.

The potential maize harvested area for the January–April 2025 period is estimated to reach 946 hectares, with the potential of dry-shelled maize production with a 14 percent moisture content in the amount of 5,784 tons.
