Farmer Terms of Trade Statistics and Rural Inflation of Jambi Province in 2016

Agriculture is one of the sectors of the economy that continuously contributes greatly in the economy in Jambi Province. This can be reflected in the contribution of this sector in the creation of Gross Regional Domestic Product which reached 28 percent in 2015. In addition, the number of labor in the agricultural sector is still dominant compared to other sectors. Consequently, the attention of policy-makers is substantial to the development of the sector. The Central Bureau of Statistics of Jambi Province prepares the publication of ""Farmers Exchange Rate and Rural Inflation in Jambi Province 2016"" published annually. This publication contains the development of indicators of Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) and Rural Inflation that can be utilized by the government in the framework of planning and evaluation of agricultural economic development, as well as consumers of data in general.
