Human Development Index of Jambi Province 2020

The Human Development Index (HDI) is an important indicator to measure success in efforts to build the quality of human life (society / population). In addition, HDI can also determine the level of development of a region / country. For Indonesia, the HDI is strategic data because it is used as a measure of government performance and is one of the allocators for determining the General Allocation Fund (DAU).The publication of "Jambi Province Human Development Index 2020" presents the HDI figures for Jambi Province and Regency / City, and is complemented by an explanation of the components that make up the HDI for the years 2011-2020, namely: life expectancy, length of schooling expectancy, average length of schooling, and expenditure. per capita per year. The achievement of human development in Jambi during the period 2011-2020 shows an increase every year. Jambi's HDI status from 2011–2020 increased from moderate status to high status.
