Abstract

Community welfare is the goal of every development program. Various indicators are used to measure the level of welfare, one of which is based on community consumption or expenditure in meeting clothing, food, and shelter needs. The share of household expenditure to meet these needs will vary, and is generally related to the level of household welfare. Therefore, community consumption patterns will also vary. Analysis of community consumption patterns is not only useful in providing a general picture of welfare, but can also be an indicator of the quality of food security.
The publication of the Analysis of Community Consumption Patterns in Jambi Province 2024 is the eighth edition of the publication on household expenditure and consumption. This publication is intended to provide an overview of expenditure and consumption patterns in various levels of society at the provincial and district/city levels in Jambi Province.
