Preparation of Financial Reports, a Form of Organizational Accountability

Hello #datafriends, there's something special about July! July is one of the sacred months for the administration team in the government, including at the Jambi Province BPS. July is the month for reporting accountability for activities, especially related to the budget in Semester I. Therefore, the Jambi Province BPS held a Coordination Meeting for the Preparation of Semester I Financial Reports for the 2024 Fiscal Year on July 15-16, 2024.

Taking place in the Jambi Province BPS Hall, the coordination meeting attended by the Head of the General Sub-Division and the BPS Financial Report Preparation Team for Regency/City throughout Jambi Province, was officially opened by the Head of the Jambi Province BPS, Agus Sudibyo, accompanied by the Head of the General Section, Eko Libri Ardi.

In his remarks, Agus conveyed the importance of unifying understanding and building harmony between the BMN Report Preparation Team and the Financial Report Preparation Team. This aims to align the steps in preparing financial reports in stages, from the work unit level to the regional level. "The harmony that is built is expected to maximize the accuracy and quality of reports, so that the reports that are prepared are increasingly reliable and accountable," concluded Agus.

In the activity, meeting participants discussed and determined the steps for preparing the Financial Report accompanied by representatives of the Jambi KPPN, namely Dyan Ari Iswanto (Functional PTPN Supervisor).

At the end of the activity, the Jambi Province BPS gave awards to the three best Asset and Inventory operators and the three most responsive GLP (General Ledger and Reporting) operators in the Jambi Province BPS area. The best Asset and Inventory Operator I was awarded to the Jambi City BPS, the second best was awarded to the Muaro Jambi Regency BPS, and the third best was awarded to the Sarolangun Regency BPS.

Meanwhile, the best GLP Operator I was awarded to the Batanghari Regency BPS, the second best was awarded to the Jambi City BPS, and the third best was awarded to the Muaro Jambi BPS.
