Have #SahabatData ever heard of the Statistics Development Index (IPS)?

The Statistics Development Index describes the maturity level of the implementation of sectoral statistics in Central Government Agencies and Regional Governments. The maturity level is measured by 5 (five) levels, namely pilot, managed, defined, integrated and measurable, and optimum. The IPS assessment is carried out through the Sectoral Statistics Implementation Evaluation (EPSS) activity since 2023.

The EPSS series starts from the self-assessment stage, document assessment, interview assessment, visitation assessment (optional), and harmonization. This harmonization stage includes the plenary activities that are currently underway. Agus Sudibyo, Head of the Jambi Province BPS, said that this Provincial Plenary aims to increase the objectivity of the assessment, align the assessment perceptions of all members of the Agency's Assessment Team and so that every change in value can be explained and accounted for.

Regional Secretary of Jambi Province, Sudirman in his speech said that this Provincial Plenary is an effective step for the Jambi Provincial Government to see the development of sectoral statistics in the city districts.

The Provincial Plenary Activity for the Evaluation of the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics of Jambi Province in 2024 was held in the Angsana Room, Odua Hotel, Weston Jambi, Tuesday (13/8).
