Jambi Province Consumer Tendency Index 2019

Early information related to the economic conditions of an area is needed by the government and the business world for making policies and planning for future business processes in the form of investment. This early information can be known through the perception of consumption agents towards the economic situation.Since 2011, the Central Statistics Agency of Jambi Province has developed an Early Indicator Monitoring System, namely the IndexConsumer Tendency. The Consumer Tendency Index is calculated based on the results of the quarterly Consumer Tendency Survey in Jambi Province.This publication explains the methods and results of the 2019 Consumer Tendency Index calculation. Until 2010, the index calculation only covered Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (Jabodetabek). Starting in 2011, the calculation of the Consumer Tendency Index has been extended to all provinces in Indonesia
