Consumer Price Index of Jambi Province 2023

The publication "Consumer Price Index for Jambi Province 2023" is a publication that presents data on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and the percentage change from 2 (two) cities in Jambi Province, namely Muara Bungo and Jambi City, as well as the combined index of the two every month as an indicator economic results produced by the Jambi Province Central Statistics Agency. The Consumer Price Index (CPI) is an important economic indicator that can provide information regarding developments in the prices of goods/services paid by consumers. Changes in the CPI over time will describe the rate of increase in prices (inflation) or the rate of decline in prices (deflation). The calculation of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for 2023 uses commodity packages and weight diagrams for the 2018 base year as a result of the 2018 Cost of Living Survey (SBH). In addition to presenting the CPI for Muara Bungo, Jambi City, and the Combined 2 (two) Cities in 2023, this publication also displays the CPI for 90 cities in Indonesia as comparison material.
