Key Indicators of the Labor Market February 2024

The National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) is carried out by BPS on a regular basis semiannually (February and August) since 2015. This survey covers the entire region Indonesia and the results are expected to be able to depict employment dynamics in detail sustainable. Sakernas which was held in February was designed to produces estimates of employment indicators at the provincial level, meanwhile Sakernas August is able to provide indicator estimates up to the district/city level. Since the formation of the New Autonomous Region (DOB) Papua at the end of 2022 So in this publication the employment indicator is displayed at 38 province. The publication of Indonesian Labor Market Indicators February 2024 presents development of labor market indicators which refer to (Key Indicators of the Labor Market-KILM) 9th edition of 2015 recommended by the ILO (International Labor Organization). The Sakernas period presented in this publication is February 2023, August 2023 and February 2024.
