2024 Horticulture Activity Coordination & Acceleration Meeting

On July 18, 2024, Agus Sudibyo, Head of the Jambi Province Central Statistics Agency, shared his insights as a resource person at the 2024 Horticulture Activity Coordination and Acceleration Meeting held at the Aston Hotel. This event was organized by the Jambi Province Food Crops, Horticulture, and Livestock Service. In addition to the Jambi Province DTPHP and the Jambi Province BPS, the Jambi Representative Office of Bank Indonesia also became a resource person at the meeting.

This meeting aims to accelerate and optimize horticulture activities and support the progress of the sustainable agricultural sector in Jambi. Various strategic and technical topics were discussed to improve data quality and accelerate the implementation of horticulture activities. No less important, the program for providing permanent horticultural land to support inflation control was also discussed. This was followed by the delivery of material on the strategy for developing food security clusters in order to support inflation control, which emphasized the importance of developing food security clusters to support regional economic stability.

Through this coordination meeting, it is hoped that the acceleration of horticultural activities in 2024 can be achieved, supporting food sovereignty, and improving the welfare of farmers in Jambi Province.
